Our diverse land exemplifies the natural wonders of British Columbia. Depending on the season and the hunting needs of our clients, our hunting grounds are:

Big Bar Mountain
3000-acre field of rolling grasslands in the Gang Ranch Fields.

Over 300 acres of lush creek bottom and dry desert terrain.

Big Bar Mountain
Gang Ranch field is our main arena, boasting a 3000-acre field of rolling grassland on Big Bar mountain. It’s dotted with small stands of willow, fir trees and aspen. Abundant natural grasses with high altitude sage and wild mustard create excellent cover for pheasant. A natural selection of berries provide forage. This area is a vast open space for big running dogs to work. If you are planning a fall trip, it is a riot of colour in late September and early October.
Big Bar Creek
Big Bar Creek is considered a more contained arena suited for flushing dogs and those who may not want to walk long distances during their shoot. It is substantially lower in elevation than Gang Ranch Field and protected by the valley sides. It lends itself to shooting excursions in the late fall and winter months.
Crows Bar & Lower Valley
Crows Bar and Lower Valley host wild populations of chukar (aka devil birds), which can be hunted in October and November within the BC provincial hunting and trapping regulations. The wild chukar hunting here is exhilarating and physically demanding. The chukars are explosively fast downhill flyers, but can race back up hill—in some cases gaining 500–1000 feet of altitude—in very short order.
